The Harvard College American Music Association (HCAMA), a student-run organization at Harvard College, seeks to promote
the awareness and understanding of jazz, bluegrass, and other indigenous American musical styles in and around
the Harvard community. Its functions include, but are not limited to,
establishing a forum for musicians specializing or interested in said
idioms, providing a vehicle for student performances, participating in
various community and charitable activities, sponsoring guest artist
performances, hosting guest artist workshops and organizing jam sessions.
The
Harvard name is a trademark of the President and Fellows of Harvard
College and is used by permission of Harvard University.
